We can always use your help!
Whatever amount you send, we will use 100% of it for scholarships, unless you ask us to direct it to supplies for the girls we sponsor, or to administrative expenses.
You can donate as much or as little as you like. The cost of sponsoring a CHES girl is $500. However an additional $50 is requested to provide the additional necessary support for each girl's educational programme. Girls spend 4 years at secondary school – please bear this in mind when you commit yourself to paying for a scholarship, and please commit to paying for her whole education!

We accept cheques and money orders in any currency.
Please do not send CHES books, clothes, or other items. It is very expensive to ship such things to Africa, and might not be what is needed. It is also our policy to help the local economy by buying books, clothing and so on from Kenyan and Tanzanian businesses.
Special Fundraiser
CHES Director Chris Harker has recently published White Necklace, a book that captures many of the special moments he and his wife Catriona have experienced during their many visits to Katesh, Tanzania since 2001. Some are joyous, others amusing and a few are tragic, but together they offer the reader a glimpse of what life is like for young people in small-town Tanzania today.
White Necklace sells for $20, with all proceeds going to CHES.
