Building an Educational Legacy – www.rrsmith.ca CHES has been very fortunate to receive financial support from the R. R.Smith Foundation again this year. We received a grant of $2000. The R. R.Smith Foundation supports educational projects in Canada and internationally.

Kenyan Secondary Schools : The Kenyan government has once again revised the School Calendar for students. Form 4 students are currently in school and will complete their Form 4 level in March 2021 before writing the national examinations in March/April.

In late November 2019, 196 CHES students gathered at the Kakamega Multipurpose Development Training Institute for what is developing into an annual event. At this, life skills, rather than purely academic skills, are the focus of the three-day event. A
